Our
Work
Our work is varied but reflects the consistent theme of educating and empowering individuals to pursue and protect their own well-being and quality of life. Life is not a zero sum game. We can all be winners.
Meaning Making for Black Women
Black women in the U.S. are confronted with unique complexities in their lives as they navigate the crossroads of race and gender, the meeting place for their intersecting social identities. The recent attacks on programs that support Black women and other marginalized people does not make the challenges they face meaningless, it indicates the heightened importance of this work in a hostile environment. The mental health and emotional well-being of working Black women, frequently the victims of microaggressions and racist behavior in their personal and professional lives, remains relatively understudied. Using a qualitative approach, this IRB approved study will enrich our insight into the experiences of Black women in high profile or high-status positions. The goal is to fund this research through people power. We are asking 10,000 people to make a donation of at least $10, and then ask them to each ask others to do the same. I hope we can count on your support.

DigiLit
With the rise of misinformation and disinformation and other online threats, there has never been a greater need to help students and adults develop the skills to combat information pollution. We develop media literacy programs for all ages to teach people how to critically analyze the media content they consume, and arm them with resources to investigate questionable stories and sources.
